South Kohala building burns

No one was injured in a storage building fire that caused an estimated $150,000 in damages in South Kohala last night, according to Big Island firefighters.

Twenty-four firefighters responded to the 10:56 p.m. alarm at the Orchid at Mauna Lani and found a storage building fully engulfed by flames.

The fire was put under control at 11:29 p.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
