Panel determines 'healthiest' cosmetics

In an attempt to find the healthiest lines of cosmetics, Time Inc.'s health magazine, along with a panel of dermatologists, analyzed more than 500 cosmetics products available at most department stores.

The winning lines were judged based on ingredients, performance, packaging, sun protection, anti-aging benefits and moisturizing ability. And the winners are:
These lines of cosmetics were named "healthiest" in a study of 500 products.
- Cleanser: Aveeno Skin Clarifying Cleanser (Longs Drugs).
- Conditioner: Frederic Fekkai Moisturizing Conditioner with Shea Butter (Neiman Marcus, Sephora).
- Foundation: Chanel Teint Fluide Universel Multi-Vitamin Natural Makeup SPF 15 (Chanel boutiques, Liberty House, Neiman Marcus).
- Lip Product: Cover Girl Triple Lipstick SPF 15 (Longs Drugs).
- Mascara: Darphin Nuances úAromes Mascara (Neiman Marcus).
- Moisturizer: Nivea Visage Alpha Flavon Perfect Protection SPF 15 Lotion (Longs Drugs).
