St. Louis, Quon win state riflery

Kyle Quon of Punahou won the Civilian Marksmanship Program Boys State Riflery individual championship yesterday by shooting a 534, seven points ahead of Eric Okamoto of St. Louis at Konawaena on the Big Island.

St. Louis won the team competition with 2,039 points. Crusaders Okamoto, Michael Tanoue (520), Michael Sato (505) and Kyle Chu (487) finished second, third, eighth and 18th to beat out Waiakea (2,004).
