Hunting licenses now available for 2001-02

Advertiser Staff

Hawai'i hunting licenses for the 2001-02 hunting season are available for sale at hunting license vendors, the Department of Land and Natural Resources' Division of Forestry and Wildlife, or online at www.ehawaiigov.org/DLNR /hunting.

The licenses, valid from July 1 2001 to June 30, 2002, are required for hunting on public and private lands in Hawai'i.

Licenses are $10 for Hawai'i residents and $95 for nonresidents. In addition, anyone purchasing a license must buy a $5 wildlife conservation stamp, the proceeds from which are used to fund wildlife programs.

As part of the federal government's extended child support enforcement efforts, all purchasers must supply their Social Security number when applying for a license.
