HPU extends winning streak to 35

Andrea Wean had 17 kills and hit .500 as No. 1 Hawai'i Pacific defeated Hawai'i-Hilo, 30-26, 30-28, 30-28, in a Pacific West Conference volleyball match last night at St. Andrew's Priory Gym.
The Sea Warriors extended their winning streak to 35 matches.
HPU won despite being outhit by Hilo, .244-to-.164. Hilo also outdug HPU, 58-47.
The Sea Warriors' Teisa Fotu had four of her team's 11 services aces, and also added 10 digs.
Sara Pilgreen had 13 kills and 12 digs, and Cheriesse Shiroma had 10 kills for Hilo.
The Sea Warriors outblocked the Vulcans, 8-3.
It was the first PacWest match for both teams.
HPU improved to 7-0 overall and Hilo dropped to 5-4.
