Results from Day 2 of 15 of the September Grand Sumo Tournament

• Yokozuna (grand champion) Musashimaru (Wai'anae's Fiamalu Penitani) forced maegashira No. 2 Takanowaka from the ring.

• Three of the four ozeki (champions) lost their matches, including Kaio, Miyabiyama and Musoyama in succession. Chiyotaikai ended the slide with a win over komusubi Tamanoshima.

• Nine wrestlers are 2-0, including ozeki Chiyotaikai.
