"Bride of the Wind": A romantic biopic, from Academy Award-nominated director Bruce Beresford, about Alma Mahler (Sarah Wynter), the wife of 19th-century composer Gustav Mahler (Jonathan Pryce). The film focuses on the days Alma, an accomplished musician herself, spent living in Vienna in the early 1900s and her relationships with the famous painter Oskar Kokoschka (Vincent Perez) and architect Walter Gropius. Opens tomorrow at Restaurant Row Theatres. (R).

"China: the Panda Adventure": An adventure involving China's giant pandas, based on a true story. Opens tomorrow at IMAX Waikiki. (NR).

"The Glass House": Two teenagers (Leelee Sobieski, Trevor Morgan) must live with their new guardians (Stellan Skarsgaard, Diane Lane) after their parents die in a car crash. The siblings soon find, however, that their guardians are desperately strapped for cash and may have plotted the parents' deaths in order to receive the money allotted for raising the kids.
