Here is a list of cancellations and postponements arising from Tuesday's terrorist attacks:
Today's Aloha Festivals Floral Parade and Aloha Festivals Family Fun Day is canceled; new dates for the Aloha Festivals ho'olaule'a street festivals, also canceled, will be announced later.
Performances on Maui and O'ahu by Te Vaka, a 10-piece New Zealand band, are canceled. The Pacific Pride concert will still be at 6:30 p.m. today at Kapono's at Aloha Tower Marketplace.
Two state Reapportionment Commission public hearings for Maui have been rescheduled. They will be Oct. 2 at the Lahaina Civic Center and Oct. 3 at the Maui Waena School cafeteria, at 7 p.m. Call (866) 587-3902 toll-free for information.
The kama'aina lu'au today at Hilton Hawaiian Village is canceled.
The Doo Wop Hop tonight at the Blaisdell Arena, has been postponed to Oct. 6. Tickets will be honored on that date. Information: Blaisdell box office 591-2211.
The Hawai'i State Foster Parents Association sixth annual conference is canceled. It was to begin today at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.
The Pacific Kartin Club has postponed its Test & Tune Day until Sept. 23.
The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel Sam Choy Poke Festival has been postponed from this weekend to Dec. 7-9 at the Mauna Kea Resort. Tickets will be honored then. Information: (808) 880-3023.
Orchestra SalsAloha, scheduled to play this weekend at Planet Hollywood, is unable to perform as band members are active military on a high state of readiness; disc jockeys will spin Latin music 9 p.m.-2 a.m. tonight instead.
Artist chef Guillermo Tellez of Charlie Trotter's in Chicago will not appear at Lana'i's resorts this weekend; the dinners and cooking classes will be rescheduled.
Dole Plantation has postponed its Birthday Bash, originally scheduled for today. The community huli-huli chicken fund-raiser will go on tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Mrs. America Pageant Fashion Preview and Luncheon tomorrow, a benefit for Aloha Festivals, has been canceled. .
Japan Travel Bureau, a wholesale supplier of Japanese visitors to Hawai'i, has canceled all outbound package tours to Hawai'i, Guam and the Mainland, said a company spokesman.
Army Community Theatre has postponed this weekend's performances of the musical "My Fair Lady" and its Readers Theatre offering, "The Debutante Ball."
"The Debutante Ball" has been postponed until Sept. 30, with the Sept. 23 performance date intact. Information: 438-4480.
Tickets to "My Fair Lady" for today will be honored on Sept. 29; the Sept. 21 and 22 performances will proceed as usual.
The Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau has canceled "Experience Aloha!" the bureau's touring marketing event in Detroit originally scheduled for the weekend, and its global in-store promotional efforts of a Hawaiian music CD called "Aloha Friday," scheduled to begin Oct. 5.
The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism's trade mission to China, to promote Hawai'i business opportunities, has been postponed until the first week of December.
The Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau has postponed its inaugural tourism conference and luncheon, which was to have begun Monday. The three-day conference will be rescheduled.
The 2001 Hi-Tech Summit, scheduled for this week, has been postponed.
A delegation of city officials, consultants and City Council members postponed a trip to Europe to check out mass transit. The trip was to have begun tomorrow.
On the Big Island, the opening night of the Hamakua music festival was canceled because leadoff performer Awadagin Pratt could not reach Hawai'i because of flight problems. Other festival events remain uncertain.
