• A prayer service for those killed in terrorist attacks this week will be held at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Wai'anae United Methodist Church, 85-671 Farrington Highway. The Wai'anae Military Civilian Advisory Council is sponsoring the event. Everyone is welcome to attend.

• In Hilo, a memorial prayer and interdenominational service will be held 5 p.m. Monday at Wailoa State Park. The Interfaith Communities in Action is sponsoring the event. Participants are asked to bring candles or flowers. For more information, call the Rev. Ron Kent (808) 963-6330.

• The USS Missouri Memorial Association is offering American flags and patriotic memorabilia at the Wal-Mart in Mililani. Wal-Mart provided kiosk space to the staff of the Mighty Mo. Because of heightened security on U.S. military facilities, the Battleship Missouri Memorial will remain closed at least through Monday.
