Newlyweds

Heidi Sue Harada, daughter of the late Melvin Harada and the late Janice Sue Harada, married Russell Paul Tamanaha, son of Paul and Carole Tamanaha of Honolulu, on May 26 at Central Union Church. The reception followed at Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The bride (1988 Hawai'i Baptist Academy, 1992 Colorado State University bachelor's), now Heidi Sue Harada Tamanaha, is self-employed. The groom (1988 Mid-Pacific Institute, 1994 University of Hawai'i bachelor's), is self-employed. They live in Honolulu.

Shanette Kananimauloa Naka'ahiki, daughter of Oriente Naka'ahiki of 'Ele'ele, Kaua'i, and the late Garrick Naka'ahiki, married Jason Elliott Dias, son of Patricia L.F. Yukawa of Honolulu, on July 14 at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Memorial Chapel at Kamehameha Schools. The reception followed at the 'Ilikai Hotel. The bride (1995 Kamehameha Schools, 2001 University of Hawai'i-Manoa master's), now Shanette Kananimauloa Naka'ahiki Dias, is a social worker. The groom (1994 Pearl City High, 1999 Honolulu Community College associate's) is an automotive technician. They live in Honolulu.

Monica H. Sasaki, daughter of Naomi and Richard M. Sasaki of Culver City, Calif., married Kris T. Yasuda, son of Keiko Yasuda of 'Ewa Beach and Yoshito Yasuda of Honolulu, on June 30 at SGI-USA Hawai'i Culture Center. The reception followed at the 'Ilikai Hotel. The bride (University of Hawai'i bachelor's), now Monica H. Yasuda, is a high-school teacher. The groom (UH bachelor's) is a high-school teacher. They live in Waipahu.
