Isle File
UH football fund-raiser this week

Advertiser Staff

Na Koa, the University of Hawai'i football program's support club, will play host to a special fund-raising event Wednesday at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Food, music and an auction will highlight the event, which runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30.

Tickets are $100 and include all beverages, food and two end-zone tickets to the UH-Boise State game on Nov. 10.

Nine of Hawai'i's top chefs will provide a variety of dishes, and several local musical groups will play throughout the evening.

Auctions items — including sports memorabilia, golf packages, and Neighbor Island and Las Vegas travel packages — will be up for bid.

Coach June Jones and his staff will be available to answer questions and present insight on the Warrior football team.

All proceeds will go to the football program for costs not covered in regular funding.
