TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE II: "That '70s Show" (7 p.m.), FOX. "That '70s Show" opens its season by drifting into a fantasy: What would life have been like if Eric and Donna never kissed? We find out here in the manner of "It's a Wonderful Life," with Wayne Knight of "Seinfeld" as a not-so-angelic angel. Everything is wildly different in this version. Eric is forlorn; Donna juggles babies and waits for Hyde to get out of jail. To regular viewers, this will be hilarious. To others, it's moderately funny.
"JAG," 7 p.m., CBS. As last season ended, Mac hit a hurdle at her wedding with Mic: The plane carrying Harm her longtime colleague and maybe her true love disappeared. Tonight comes the rescue and the re-thinking.
"Dharma and Greg," 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., ABC. Last season ended with a car crash, leaving Dharma in the hospital, Greg in guilt and their parents in conflict. Tonight's season-opener starts there.
"Frasier," 8 p.m., NBC. Here are the two reruns originally scheduled for last Tuesday. In the first, Frasier tries to help a guy whose house is being sold by Lana, the crumbling prom queen. In the second, he tries to take sweet Claire on a quiet island vacation.
"Spin City," 8 p.m., ABC. Michael J. Fox guests on the show he starred in before leaving with health problems.
