Workshops will focus on new media

The Pacific New Media series, sponsored by the University of Hawai'i-Manoa Outreach College, will include workshops on screenwriting, lighting for digital video , animation for the Web and information design for the Web.

Julieanne Kost of Adobe Systems will present a free public talk on the Photoshop the world-standard graphics software, set for 7 p.m. Dec. 9 in the UH Art Auditorium. This will precede her Dec. 10-11 Photoshop course.
