• The first and last name of the Rev. Shigenori Makino, associate chief minister of the Honpa Hongwanji Buddhist Mission, was reversed in a story and photo caption in Monday's Advertiser.

• Marilyce Hale is the older sister of 1993 Kaiser graduate Maile Hale, who is missing after attending a conference in a World Trade Center tower attacked Sept. 11. A reporter mistakenly described Marilyce Hale as Maile Hale's younger sister in a story in yesterday's Advertiser.
