Aloha Stadium available if Pro Bowl postponed

If the NFL decides to move the Super Bowl date from Jan. 27 to Feb. 3, the Pro Bowl could be played the following Sunday (Feb. 10), according to one scenario being discussed by the league.
Ed Hayashi, Aloha Stadium manager, said there would be "no problem" pushing the Pro Bowl back a week.
He said the Feb. 9-10 weekend at Aloha Stadium is open. Even if it weren't available, accommodations would have to be made because the Pro Bowl is "the premiere event for the whole state," Hayashi said.
The Super Bowl and subsequent Pro Bowl date switch is one of the options being discussed by the NFL in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
Yesterday, the NFL's competition committee voted unanimously to maintain a full 16-game format this season, making up last week's postponed games at the end of the regular season.
That would push all the playoffs back a week, impacting the date of the Super Bowl.
Another scenario being discussed is to reduce the number of playoff teams from 12 to eight, thereby eliminating the first week of playoffs. That option would keep all dates intact.
Unlike in past years, there is no two-week break between the conference championships and the Super Bowl.
