Running
Sept. 30 Susan G. Komen Hawai'i Race for the Cure. At Kapi'olani Park. Fund-raiser for breast cancer research. The 5K race begins at 7:30 a.m.,one-mile walk at 7:45 a.m. Registration is $18 ($22 after Sept. 22) and $15 each person when five or more registration mailed together ($18 for late registration). Soccer
Sept. 22 Honolulu Bulls Soccer Club Super Soccer Skills Training Clinics. At Kapi'olani Park off Paki Street, old driving range site, 3-4:30 p.m. Ages 5-12. Conducted by director of coaching Phil Neddo and staff. Instruction on dribbling, passing and receiving. Information: Rick Chong, 738-5355.
Softball
Sept. 23, 30 Softball Agility & Conditioning. Learn plyometrics, basic fundamentals, eye-hand drills and many more. Live batting, infield and outfield practice. Open to all ages. Fee: $125. Swimming
Sept. 30 Maui Roughwater Swim. At Keawekapu Beach, 8:30 a.m. Preregistration, if postmarked by Sept. 24, is $15 and includes awards and breakfast. Late registration is $20.
