'AIEA — 'Aiea High School quarterback Lole Laolagi passed for an O'ahu season-high six touchdowns last night to lead Na Ali'i to a 46-27 home victory over Kalaheo in a meeting between unbeaten teams.

Laolagi, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound senior, completed 19 of 26 passes for 345 yards, without an interception. The performance helped 'Aiea, the only 5-0 team in the state, remain unbeaten in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association White Conference at 4-0. Kalaheo fell to 2-2 and 2-1 in the OIA.

Reuben Medeiros caught three of Laolagi's touchdown passes, all in the first half, to help Na Ali'i take a 20-7 lead at intermission. Chris Antonio caught two more touchdown passes in the third quarter as 'Aiea stretched the lead to 32-13.

After Antonio's second touchdown catch, an 18-yarder, Kalaheo's Ryan Simmons returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for a score to help the Mustangs close it to 32-20.

Laolagi connected with Jeremy Yuen from 10 yards out for his sixth touchdown pass midway through the fourth quarter as 'Aiea took a 39-20 lead.

Kalaheo quarterback Mike Garcia answered with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Kekai Valdez to help the Mustangs make it 39-27. But 'Aiea reserve quarterback Dustin Grace sealed the game with 1:30 remaining with a 39-yard touchdown pass to running back Junior Neemia.
