SOPHIE LUCILLE BEARDEAUX, 82, of Honolulu, died Sept. 20, 2001. Born in Honolulu. FAAAOGA MATAILIILI ENA, 67, of 'Ewa Beach, died Sept. 13, 2001. Born in Amouli, American Samoa. A retired U.S. Navy senior chief, retired college teacher and superintendent of the pier for the Port Administration of Honolulu. Survived by wife, Tala; sons, Paul, Andrew "Bill" and Tapa Ugaifafa; daughters, Finagalo Faapouli, Lidwina, Toeupu and Lutena; parents, Siaumau Samatua and Toeupu Elia; brothers, Peteru and Pili; sister, Vailupe Tafilipepe; seven grandchildren.
