Deadline for UH-BYU ticket refunds Oct. 19

The deadline for ticket refunds for the rescheduled University of Hawai'i-BYU football game is Oct. 19.

The game was moved from Dec. 1 to Dec. 8.

Season ticket holders should mail or bring their tickets to the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office for a prorated refund. Fans who purchased individual game tickets should return them to the outlet purchased from for a refund.

Refunds will take several weeks to process.

Stan Sheriff Center Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Include your name and address with your tickets. Aloha Stadium Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CROSS COUNTRY

• ILH, OIA at Kaiser: The Honolulu Marathon Cross Country Invitational will be held tomorrow at Kaiser High School.

The race includes all of the varsity, junior varsity and intermediate squads from both the Interscholastic League of Honolulu and the O'ahu Interscholastic Association.

The first race, intermediate boys, begins at 8:30 a.m.

WATER POLO

• Flanagan on U.S. juniors: Maureen Flanagan, a 1999 Punahou graduate, and a sophomore at UCLA, was named to the U.S. Junior National Water Polo Team.

The team will play in Perth, Australia from Dec. 6-16 at the Junior World Championships.
