Miss World Hawai'i finals tomorrow

The Miss World Hawai'i Pageant, originally scheduled for Sept. 22, will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Mamiya Theatre, Saint Louis School. The Hawai'i winner will advance to the Miss World finals set for Nov. 16 in Sun City, South Africa. Tickets: $20, available at the door. Information: MissWorldHawaii!@aol.com


Dixie T-shirts help N.Y. firefighters

Dixie Grill on Ward Avenue and Kamehameha Highway is selling special flag-logo T-shirts as part of its Blues, Brews & BBQ event. Proceeds will support the New York Fire Fighters Fund. Cost is $10. Outrigger adjusts SOS schedule

Effective immediately, Society of Seven show times have been adjusted at the Outrigger Waikiki's Main Showroom because of the downturn in tourist arrivals. Performances will be at 8:30 p.m. only, Tuesdays through Sundays. Until now, there had been two shows on some nights. The Sunday performances are an addition to the schedule. DHT extends 'Jekyll & Hyde'

Diamond Head Theatre has held over its "Jekyll & Hyde" musical, with three additional performances at 8 p.m. Oct. 5 and 6, and 4 p.m. Oct. 7. The Frank Wildhorn musical was to have closed tomorrow. Tickets: $10 to $40. Reservations: 733-0274.


'Smokey Joe's Cafe' dates added

Manoa Valley Theatre has held over its musical revue, "Smokey Joe's Cafe," for another week, which means that the show will run a maximum of six weeks, through Oct. 14. The new play dates are Oct. 10-14 and will be the final extension. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 4 p.m. Sundays. Tickets: $35, with discounts for seniors and military; patrons 25 and under will be admitted for $15 during the extension. Reservations: 988-6131.
