Weddings

Maricris "Mary" Castillo, daughter of Mario and Cresencia Castillo of Waialua, and Robert "Rob" Moon, son of Peter and Rose Moon of Honolulu, were married on Aug. 4 at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park. The reception followed at China House Restaurant. The bride, now Maricris C. Moon, and the groom live in Honolulu.

Scarlett Ginelsa Godinez, daughter of Bonifacio Godinez of Honolulu and Daylinda Placencia of Kapolei, and Marshall Dumadag, son of Eduarda Snyder of Seattle, were married on May 26 at Ko Olina Chapel-Place of Joy. The reception followed at Marriott 'Ihilani Resort & Spa. The bride (1994 Farrington High), now Scarlett Ginelsa Godinez-Dumadag, is a membership specialist. The groom (1994 Farrington High) is a waiter. They live in Kapolei.

Sammiedean Ululani Elizabeth James Pikini, daughter of Raymond and Ululani James of 'Aina Haina, and Keith Nelson Sutton, son of Nelson and Katherine Sutton of West Palm Beach, Fla., were married on Sept. 14 at the home of their minister, Otto Cleveland, in Pacific Palisades. The bride (1986 Kamehameha Schools, 1989 University of Hawai'i bachelor's), now Sammiedean U. Sutton, is a social worker. The groom (Evander Childs High School), formerly of the Bronx, N.Y., is a craftsman. They have four children — Devin Sutton, 15, who lives in New York; Chauncey Pikini, 11; Lindsey Pikini, 8; and Nelson Sutton, 6 months. The couple and three of their children live in Pearl City.

Engagements

Norma and Esmeraldo Gamiao of Salt Lake have announced the engagement of their daughter, Ruby Lee T. Gamiao, to Christopher A. Siangco, son of Linda Selga of Long Beach, Calif., and Christopher Siangco of San Diego. Gamiao, of Honolulu, is a flight attendant. Siangco, formerly of 'Aiea, is from Los Angeles. They plan to marry Oct. 6 in Waipahu.

Donald and Linda Reidt of Moraga, Calif., and Louis and Donlei Darnell of Kane'ohe have announced the engagement of their children, Cindy Diane Reidt and Matthew John Darnell. Reidt, of Honolulu, is a hospital food service director. Darnell, of Honolulu, is a senior vice president of a telecom company. They plan to marry Oct. 13 in Kailua.
