• Former Honolulu commercial litigation law partner KENN N. KOJIMA has been named by California Gov. Gray Davis as deputy director of the state's Department of General Services, Real Estate Services Division. Kojima will be responsible for California's multibillion-dollar real estate development and management operations, including more than 20 million square feet of state-owned office space. Previously he was Pacific Rim regional administrator for the U.S. General Services Administration, which includes Hawai'i. He was formerly with Dwyer Schraff Meyer Jossem & Bushnell in Honolulu, specializing in bankruptcy, foreclosure, real estate and corporate law.

• Certified public accountant TRACY WATKINS has been named controller of Atlantis Adventures, which owns and operates Atlantis Submarines in 10 locations worldwide, plus the Honolulu-based Atlantis Cruises. Watkins will oversee daily financial and budget operations, including management of its information system. She joined Atlantis in June 1999 as accounting manager. The company also provides marketing services for Sea Life Park, Waimea Falls Park and the Battleship Missouri Memorial.

MANFRED FERDINAND JONAS, recently executive chef at the Renaissance Dubai Hotel in the United Arab Emirates, has been named to the same position at Renaissance's Wailea Beach Resort on Maui. Jonas will oversee the resort's food operations, including Palm Court, Maui Onion, Sunset Terrace Lounge and banquet functions.

RUSSELL J. PARK has been named vice president for business development for Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. Before joining Atlas last year, Park was assistant vice president and client advisor at Marsh Inc.

GENE YOJO has been named management executive for Hawaiiana Management Co. Ltd. Yojo is past general manager of the Waikiki Imperial Hawai'i Resort and Best Western Plaza under Grace Business Development.

• Island Insurance Companies' LYNNE NISHIURA has added the title of assistant vice president to her former position as director of human resources. She is a past human resources manager for C. Brewer & Co., and has worked for Kuakini Health Systems.

JASMIN GALICINAO has been hired by Honolulu Club to oversee the athletic club's new nutrition counseling program. Galicinao is a cardiac rehabilitation specialist and clinical nutritionist at the Wai'anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center.

JOHN HAMILTON IV has been named vice president of Summit Lending of Hawai'i mortgage bank, heading a newly opened commercial lending division. The former senior underwriter with Seattle-based Credit Pro will also serve as manager of Summitt's information technology division.

PATTY LOW has been named account executive for special projects at Trade Publishing co., overseeing sales of print services as well as new publications advertising and sales. She was previously part of the MidWeek/Honolulu Star-Bulletin Commercial Printing Department.

• Professional Results Inc. has announced the following hires and promotion: ANNA LYN AGPAOA, promoted from graphic design coordinator to graphic design director and overseeing production of the Hawaiian Hard Drive publication; JENNIFER L. LI, hired as public relations director; and JOHN S. CHOCK, outside sales director, with primary responsibility for Hawaiian Hard Drive sales.
