Relationship tips coming straight from Earth

John Gray fans, you're in luck.

While the mega-marketer and author of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" won't be here, followers of his gender-difference doctrine will meet Saturday to talk about the "primary love needs of Martians and Venusians."

Nearly six years since the celebrity relationship guru's Mars and Venus logo spread to counselors nationwide, his message is still drawing crowds. This seminar promises to teach "the secret to empowering a man" and "how to make her feel 'special.' "

Mitzi Gold, a licensed psychologist and social worker, and director of the Mars and Venus Counseling Center in Honolulu, will be on hand to help align the planets.

The workshop is scheduled 1-3 p.m. at Kapi'olani Women's Center. It is $15 per person or $25 for two. Call 973-3044 to register, or 737-6277 for details.
