Teens charged in killing

Advertiser Staff

Two men were charged yesterday with the February death of an Army reservist.

Joseph K. Marshall, 19, of Mililani, and Gary McCormick-Fesagaiga, 18, of Wahiawa, were charged with one count each of second-degree murder and second-degree theft. They were being held last night on $100,000 bail.

Mark Mehr, 43, died Feb. 21, 10 days after he was beaten and left on a sidewalk outside a California Avenue apartment building in Wahiawa. Police believe Mehr got into an argument with two men.

Police arrested Marshall, McCormick-Fesagaiga and two other men Tuesday. The two other men were released pending further investigation.
