Planning the big day made easier

From last-minute planners to single dreamers, those seeking ideas for their fantasy wedding are invited to peruse more than 100 booths at the Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo VIII.

The expo, to be held 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hawai'i Convention Center, will offer ideas for everything wedding-related: flowers, limousines, reception sites, honeymoon destinations and much more.

There will also be a fashion show with the latest in formal wear, staged 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, as well as giveaways worth thousands of dollars. Among the prizes are a cruise, a his-and-hers pair of platinum rings and bridal gowns.
