Share how you show kindness to animals

What is the kindest thing you or people you know have done for animals?

If you're in kindergarten through grade six, you are invited to create a drawing, painting or collage illustrating the theme, "How I can show kindness to animals" and enter it in the Hawaiian Humane Society's "Be Kind to Animals" poster contest.

Entries should be no larger than 18 by 24 inches, and must be received at the humane society by April 15. Prizes of $50, $25 and $20 will be given away in each judging category, and winning posters will be displayed at the Pet Expo at the Blaisdell Center, May 11 and 12.
