Tonight's Must-See
"Commanding Heights: The Battle For the World Economy," 9 p.m., PBS. The most profound world changes didn't come from elections or violent revolutions. Instead they came from economics. Don't expect this documentary — the middle of a three-week series — to provide a balanced overview. Its views are firmly on the side of an uncontrolled market, and argues that state control — communist or despot —- does not work.
Of note
"THE GEORGE LOPEZ SHOW," 7:30 p.m., ABC. Sandra Bullock, one of the show's producers, plays a clumsy worker at George's factory.
