• Hans Pung was a member of the "All Hawaii Baseball Team" that went on a barnstorming tour in 1935. His name was misspelled in a Local News story posted Monday because of a reporter's error.

• Former lieutenant governor candidate Stan Koki's name was misspelled in a Local News article posted Sunday because of a page designer's error.

• Okinawa succeeded in eradicating the Oriental fruit fly and the melon fly, not the Medfly, using technology developed in Hawai'i by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Incorrect information, arising from a reporter's error, appeared in a Local News story posted last Wednesday.

• The Big Island's Kohala High School won Hawaiian Electric Co.'s Electron Marathon electric car competition in March. Incorrect results were included in a story on Page B3 in the March 27 Advertiser because of a source error.
