Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 and 7:30 p.m., NBC. "Friends" pauses tonight to air a pair of reruns. They form a terrific two-parter with Sean Penn as the guest star. Here he plays a sweet-spirited chap. The problem is that he's dating the wrong twin. He's perfect for Phoebe, the well-meaning (if ditzy) one. Instead, he's dating Ursula who tends to lie, cheat and make porn movies. Lisa Kudrow, who used to be Ursula on "Mad About You," plays both twins. There's great fun seeing Penn bounce between them. In the first episode he shows up for a Halloween party at the friends' apartment. In the second he tries to adjust to a new twin.

Of Note

"Dawson's Creek," 5 p.m., WB. Dawson has finished the first movie he's made in college. Now it's time for the screening — and time to worry about Joey's love life.

"Survivor: Marquesas," 7 p.m., CBS. Tonight the field gets trimmed to nine.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. Sara gets involved in the case of a young woman who was raped and shot.

"Will & Grace," 8 p.m., NBC. Jack misses his son's basketball tournament and first kiss.

"Just Shoot Me," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Stephen Root, who was so good as the "NewsRadio" owner, guests as a psychologist. His psychobabble seems to impress everyone except Elliott.

"Frontline: Requiem for Frank Lee Smith," 9 p.m., PBS. Sentenced to death for allegedly raping and murdering an 8-year-old girl, Florida-resident Smith was convicted primarily on the testimony of a single witness who eventually changed her story. Director Ofra Bikel's documentary shows the miscarriage of justice that followed when unfazed prosecutors fought subsequent DNA testing.
