Dan Goodfellow's tee shot was awry, but the end was perfect. |

Hole No. 15, 163 yards, 6-iron
There was a 40-minute wait on the 15th hole during the Governor's Tournament, which gave me more than enough time to select the perfect club.
A blind green and a ravine full of boulders make this par-3 extremely intimidating.
Finally, it was my turn. I stepped up, confident of my ability and club selection: a 6-iron. I swung, and chunk my ball went high and short.
My hopes of a great shot were sunk when my ball went into the ravine.
We all heard the familiar click of a ball hitting a rock, and then watched my ball fire out of nowhere and head toward the green.
It was a hole-in-one!
The Honorable Ben Cayatano had me stand up at the banquet in order to take my lashings.
