San Bernardino beats HPU baseball team, 10-5

Spurred by Keith Haughn's two-run homer, Cal State-San Bernardino scored seven runs in the first two innings en route to a 10-5 victory over visiting Hawai'i Pacific yesterday.

San Bernardino improved to 20-19.

Jonathan Torres, Alika Kuraoka and Derek Little each batted 2-for-4 for HPU, which fell to 18-27. The Sea Warriors completed their California road trip with a 1-5 record.


Sailing

• Rainbows finish fifth: The University of Hawai'i coed sailing teams finished fifth, eighth, and 19th this past weekend at the St. Francis Yacht Club Intersectional in San Francisco.

Hawai'i-1, with a crew of Byron Lake, Jennifer Warnock, Adam Corpuz-Lahne and Lindsay Peters, earned 151 points in its fifth-place finish.
