Don Ho's GM to head up restaurant group

NAME-DROPPING: David Nagaishi is the new operations manager for John Peterson Ltd., the restaurant group of John McManus and Eric Horst's that includes the Shorebird Beach Broiler in the Outrigger Reef, the popular Lewers Street Fish Company in the Ohana Reef Towers and the Lahaina Fish Company on Maui. The chain will soon welcome its newest, the Ocean House at the Outrigger Reef. To say that Nagaishi knows fish is to put it mildly; he is winding up his stint as general manager at Don Ho's Island Grill and earlier was associated with Nick's Fishmarket, The Black Orchid and Pier 7 Restaurants. Comedian Frank DeLima does double duty on Mother's Day (May 12), performing at the Ala Moana Hotel's Hibiscus Ballroom twice. The brunch show will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. ($34 adults, $16 children younger than 12), the dinner show, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. ($36 adults, $18 children younger than 12).
