Triathlon Sunday in Kailua

The BikeFactory Lanikai Triathlon will be Sunday at Kailua Beach Park.

Entries are still being accepted for the race, which will feature a 500-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride and a 5-kilometer run. Cost is $55 for individuals and $75 for relay teams.

Those interested can register for the event tomorrow from noon-4 p.m. at Boca Hawai'i at 330 Cook St., next to the BikeFactory.

SWAP MEET

• Cycling event: The IT&B CycleSwap will be April 27 at St. Mark's Church at 539 Kapahulu, Ave.

Space is still available for sellers, while those interested in buying bicycles or other items can purchase half-price tickets ($2.50) through April 24 at Island Triathlon & Bike at 569 Kapahulu, Ave.

After April 24, tickets will be $5.

A mini table for sellers will cost $10 plus a 10-percent seller's fee.

RUNNING

• Big Island International Marathon: The Fifth Annual Big Island International Marathon will be May 19. In addition to the marathon, there will also be a 10.8-mile race and a 3.1-mile run/walk.

The marathon and 10.8-mile race will begin at 6 a.m. in Pepeekeo. The shorter run will finish at Hilo Bay. For more information, contact the Big Island International Marathon Association at (808) 969-7400.
