Writers' league to meet in Hawai'i

The National League of American Pen Women is meeting in Hawai'i next week for its biennial writer's conference, featuring keynote speaker Marcia Preston, editor/publisher of Byline magazine. The event Saturday at Tokai University Pacific Center is open to all writers.

Preston will speak on "Getting That First Novel Published." Six other experts will participate, including O'ahu writer and scholar of Greek myth Clemence McLaren, who will discuss writing for young adults.
