Weekly Honors

TIMOTHY FLOWERS

Leilehua track and field

At the OIA Western Division championships, won the 100 (11.3 seconds), 200 (23.0 seconds), high jump (5 feet, 10 inches) and long jump (20-11).

BECKY HOGUE

Punahou basketball

Scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a victory over Sacred Hearts and had 25 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Maryknoll.

KRISHA KAI

Kahuku basketball/track and field

At the OIA Eastern Division championships, won the 100 hurdles (15.95 seconds), high jump (5 feet, 2 inches) and triple jump (37 feet, 2¥), and was part of the Red Raiders' winning 4 X 100 relay team. Also played in two basketball games.

JAMIE KUA

Campbell basketball/track and field

Scored six of her 14 points in the fourth period of the Sabers' 37-34 victory over Wai'anae, and won the long jump at the OIA Western Division championships with a leap of 15 feet, 2 inches.

AMBER LEE

McKinley baseball

Scored 25 points in a victory over Kaiser, then scored all of her game-high 17 points in the fourth period and overtime in a 48-47 win over Farrington, including the game-winning basket with four seconds left.

ZACH MCANGUS

Kamehameha baseball

Pitched a five-hitter with five strikeouts in a victory over Pac-Five, went 1-for-3 with a double and RBI in a 5-4 win over Mid-Pacific, and drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning of an 8-7 victory over Iolani.

KELCI NAIHE

Kahuku basketball/track

Scored 15 points in a 51-47 loss to Kalaheo, scored all 13 of her points in the second half of the Red Raiders' 50-39 victory over Castle, and was part of Kahuku's winning 4 X 100 relay team at the OIA Eastern Division championships.

DIANE OKUBO

University basketball

Scored 24 points in a loss to Maryknoll and 13 points in the Junior Rainbows' 36-32 victory over Sacred Hearts.

SEAN ORTIZ

Maryknoll baseball

Went 2-for-4 with a double and scored the go-ahead run in a 2-1 upset of Mid-Pacific, and went 3-for-4 in a 7-6 loss to Punahou.

ANNE RICHARDSON

Punahou water polo

Scored a match-high six goals to lead the Buffanblu to a 17-3 victory over previously unbeaten Iolani.

DALIA SOLIA

Kaimuki basketball

Scored 13 of her 19 points in the second half of the Bulldogs' 45-38 comeback victory over Farrington, and had 20 points in a 45-44 win over Kailua.

ASHLEY TAKATA

Kalani basketball

Scored eight of her 20 points in the fourth period of the Falcons' 51-47 victory over Roosevelt, and scored 12 points in a 42-35 win over Moanalua.

BRYAN TUCKER-SALAS

'Aiea baseball

Went 3-for-4 with a double and two triples in a victory over Radford, and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in an 11-1 win over Campbell to help Na Ali'i stay unbeaten and atop the OIA Western Division standings.

LATOYA WILY

Kalaheo basketball

Scored eight of her 10 points in the second half of the Mustangs' 51-47 comeback victory over Kahuku, then scored 24 points in a 54-43 win over Kaiser.

MEGAN ABBOTT, Punahou basketball — Helping fill in for injured starter Elyse Umeda, scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds, made seven steals and dished out five assists in two Buffanblu victories.

CHRISTOPHER BATALICO, Mililani baseball — Allowed no runs and struck out nine in four innings against Nanakuli, in addition to going 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs.

BRE CARSON, Kalaheo basketball — Scored all 11 of her points in the second period, including three consecutive 3-point baskets, to help the Mustangs overcome a 12-point deficit and defeat Kahuku on the road, 51-47.

ASHLIE DUTRO, Roosevelt basketball — Scored 14 of her 19 points in the first half of a 42-24 victory over Castle.

JALEN GARCIA, Campbell basketball — Scored 11 points, including the game-winning basket with 13 seconds remaining, in the Sabers' 42-41 victory over Nanakuli.

ANA FISILAU, Kailua basketball — Scored 17 points in a 45-44 loss to Kaimuki.

KATIE FLANAGAN, Punahou water polo — Scored five goals in the Buffanblu's 17-3 victory over previously unbeaten Iolani.

SHOWN FRANCIS, Roosevelt track and field — At the OIA Eastern Division championships, won the 300 hurdles (41.03 seconds) and high jump (6 feet), placed third in the 110 hurdles and was part of the Rough Riders' winning 4 X 400 relay team.

JUSTIN HUMALON, St. Louis baseball — Went 3-for-4 with a triple, three-run home run and four RBIs in an 11-5 victory over Damien.

RYAN KEOMAKA, Roosevelt track and field — At the OIA Eastern Division championships, won the 400 (51.55 seconds) and long jump (20 feet, 6 inches) and was part of the Rough Riders' winning 4 X 100 and 4 X 400 relay teams.

HEATHER MASSEY, Radford basketball — Scored 19 points in a loss to Pearl City and 19 points in a victory over Mililani.

VICTOR MEJIA, Radford baseball — Pitched a four-hit shutout with seven strikeouts, including three with the bases loaded, in the Rams' 1-0 victory over Waipahu.

BABA MERINO, Kamehameha baseball — Went 2-for-3 in a 7-0 victory over Pac-Five and went 1-for-3 with a double in a 5-4 comeback win over Mid-Pacific.

SPENCER NAKAMURA, Kahuku baseball — Went 3-for-4 with a triple and five RBIs in the Red Raiders' 14-13 victory over Kalaheo.

JONATHAN NAKASONE, Roosevelt track — At the OIA Eastern Division championships, won the 100 (11.16 seconds) and 200 (22.22) and was part of the Rough Riders' winning 4 X 100 and 4 X 400 relay teams. Roosevelt won the team title.

JONATHAN SERAPION, Pearl City baseball — Allowed three hits and struck out eight in five innings against Campbell, and also went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and four RBIs.

BRETT TANIGAWA, Moanalua baseball — Went 4-for-5 with two triples and two RBIs in a 10-7 victory over Kalani.

KELLY TERAMOTO, Iolani baseball — Went 3-for-4 in the Raiders' 10-4 victory over Damien, and went 2-for-5 with a double, triple and two RBIs in an 8-7 loss to Kamehameha.

MATTHEW TERUKINA, Roosevelt baseball — Went 3-for-4 with a double in a 3-1 victory over Farrington, then went 2-for-3 with a grand slam in a 14-4 win over Kalani.

CHEVY TEVES, Wai'anae baseball — Went 4-for-4 with two RBIs in the Seariders' 8-2 victory over Pearl City.

DEREK TURBIN, Punahou track and field — At the ILH meet last Friday, won the triple jump (43 feet, 6¥ inches), placed second in the long jump (20-0) and third in the 400 (52.98 seconds).

LEHUA YAP, Nanakuli basketball — Scored 29 points in a 58-51 victory over Mililani.
