The entertainment community yesterday remembered MOE KEALE as a witty, soulful musician and singer with jokes and songs to share. Keale, the 'ukulele stylist who entertained audiences with his acting and music for more than four decades, died after a heart attack Monday. He was 62. See story.

Services and burial have been set for THE REV. ELI KUHILANI CARTER JR., of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church, 'Ewa Beach, who died April 8, 2002, in Texas. Carter, who was born in Kealakekua, Big Island, was the first man to be ordained a priest from the Big Island's St. Benedict "The Painted Church," and was the driving force behind a homeless and hungry outreach ministry at St. Rita Church, Nanakuli. He was also, throughout his career, associated with Our Lady of Lourdes, Honoka'a; St. John the Apostle and Evangelist, Mililani; Immaculate Conception, 'Ewa, and Sacred Heart, Wai'anae. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church; Mass 7 p.m. Big Island visitation 5 p.m. April 26 at St. Benedict's Church, Honaunau.
