Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 and 7:30 p.m., NBC. Any night with two "Friends" episodes has to be good, even when both are reruns. Tonight's first rerun has Joey trying to cheer up Rachel by taking her out on the town. They get along well — and he's startled to realize he may be in love with his friend. The second has confusion with people thinking it's Phoebe he loves. Meanwhile, Rachel promises not to ask the sex of her upcoming baby — then breaks her promise by peeking at the medical charts.

"Memphis Homicide Squad," 7 p.m., Court TV. Here is the middle of an interesting, three-day reality series. There's an easy likability to the people who probe murders in Memphis, Tenn. Who wouldn't like a town where two of the police detectives are named Venus and Queen? Tonight, one case falls together easily. The cops instantly have a witness and the name of a suspect. Another is perplexing. Still trying to learn the name of the victim, the cops sift through a dumpster. "This is a metaphor for all police work," one says.

Of Note

"Survivor: Marquesas," 7 p.m., CBS. It's time to oust an eighth person. By the end of tonight half the original cast will be gone.

"The Big Chill" (1983), 2 and 6 p.m., AMC. Lawrence Kasdan wrote and directed this film. It's inconsistent but has insightful looks at his baby boomer generation.

"The Mummy" (1999), 8 and 10:35 p.m., TNT. Brendan Fraser stars in this popular movie filled with action and special effects. Catch it before you see "The Scorpion King," the prequel to the "Mummy" films, which opens tomorrow.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," 8 p.m., CBS. In a rerun, a casino executive is found dead. Was it a drug overdose?

"Just Shoot Me," 8:30 p.m., NBC. Now that Finch (David Spade) is back in college, he has made a student film complete with David Hasselhoff. Trouble follows.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. This reruns the episode with Lewis' first day back at work. She promptly gets into an argument with Weaver.

"The Agency," 9 p.m., CBS. The CIA races to prevent a nuclear war between India and Pakistan.
