Warriors win seventh baseball game in row

Zach McAngus and Nick Freitas drove in two runs apiece as Kamehameha beat St. Louis, 10-3, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game last night at Aloha Stadium.

Ikena Dupont and Isaac Kamai combined on an eight-hitter as Kamehameha (12-2) extended its winning streak to seven games.

St. Louis (7-7) trailed 6-3 in the sixth inning with the tying run at the plate and no outs. But the Warriors' Tyler Perkins caught a liner by Shane Butcher in center field and threw home to double up pinch-runner Kaleo Perreira. The Crusaders scored one run in the inning.

McAngus batted 3-for-3, Shannon Kahale went 3-for-4 and Kahe Santos was 2-for-4 for the Warriors.

The game was delayed about 20 minutes because of a power outage.
