Punahou pounds St. Francis to remain unbeaten in ILH

Becky Hogue scored 12 points and Megan Abbott added 10, leading Punahou to a 49-31 victory over St. Francis last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I girls' game at McCabe Gym.

The Buffanblu led 23-14 at halftime and 38-25 after three quarters to improve to 11-0.

Jasmine Dulan scored 15 points to lead the Troubadours, who fell to 0-10.

Nagamine connected on three of Iolani's four 3-pointers.

• Leilehua 42, Kapolei 22: Pikake Nutter-Gaudet scored nine points to lead a balanced offense and the host Mules raced to a 17-0 first-quarter lead in routing the Hurricanes in an OIA Western Division game.

Of the 11 players who got in the game for Leilehua, nine scored at least two points. Inez Tauvela and Heidi Garcia contributed eight points each for Leilehua.
