Advertiser Staff

The O‘ahu grand jury today indicted a Kailua man for two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Edward Fuller and Tracey Tominaga.

Jason K. Perry, 23, was one of eight men indicted in connection with the strangulation murder of Tominaga, whose body was found April 2 buried in a shallow grave above Makakilo. She had been last seen Jan. 20.

Perry also is accused of killing Fuller, 40, who died Jan. 27 following a shooting on Jack Lane in Nu‘uanu. Perry’s bail was set at $5 million.

According to court documents, Tominaga was killed Jan. 21 and Fuller was killed Jan. 26.

The indictment also charged Perry, Ryan H. Onuma, Delano K. Puha, Andrey E. Lake and Jamison Mitchell with criminal conspiracy, a felony, for allegedly agreeing to meet and then restraining Tominaga with handcuffs and tape, beat her and hit her with a blunt object.

Lake was also charged with second-degree assault, while Onuma, Puha, Mitchell and Marvin T. Cadiz were charged with attempted assault.

Onuma, Puha, Lake, Mitchell, Cadiz, Vaughn N. Kaaumoana and David V.C. Magalei were charged with hindering prosecution.

Perry was arraigned Monday for firearms and drug charges that were filed against him when he was arrested in the Tominaga case. The trial date on the firearms and drug charges is set for June 24.
