New volleyball coach at Sacred Hearts

Thomas Burton has been named Sacred Hearts varsity volleyball coach, replacing Sweetie Nelson, who guided the program the past three years and resigned for personal reasons.

Burton has extensive experience as a player and coach for the Armed Forces, athletic director Wade Okamura said. Last fall, he was head coach on one of the lower levels at Sacred Hearts.
