Ilagan, Bihag capture OIA tennis titles

Farrington senior Anthony Ilagan won his second straight O'ahu Interscholastic Association boys singles tennis championship yesterday, defeating Jamie Migia of Moanalua, 6-0, 1-6, 6-3, at Brigham Young University-Hawai'i.
Waipahu sophomore Chloe Bihag, who finished third last year, defeated Juliene Yamamoto of Moanalua, 6-3, 6-4, for the girls singles title.
Jeremy Perron and Joel Maeshiro of Mililani, last year's third-place team in boys doubles, upset 'Aiea's duo of Arthur Phanphengdy and his brother Siphathay, 6-3, 6-3. Arthur Phanphengdy won doubles with a different partner last year.
Leilehua's Sarah Galon and Kim Chikazawa scored the day's most decisive victory in girls doubles, dispatching Christy Kaneshiro and Jessica Lum of Pearl City, 6-1, 6-0.
