Aston parent names officer

ResortQuest International Inc., parent company of Aston Hotels & Resorts Hawaii, yesterday announced that Chief Operating Officer James Olin has been promoted to the additional role of president of the company, effective immediately. Olin is responsible for overseeing the company's more than 50 vacation rental and real estate offices across North America, as well as further integrating and enhancing the company's operations.


CB Bancshares board elected

Shareholders of CB Bancshares Inc., the holding company of City Bank, yesterday elected four members to the board of directors. Of the four elected, Maurice H. Yamasato, president of Yamasato, Fujiwara, Higa & Associates Inc., is a new director.

The re-elected directors are Lionel Y. Tokioka, chairman of the board of CB Bancshares and City Bank; Colbert M. Matsumoto, chairman and chief executive officer of Island Insurance Co.; and Yoshiki Takada, senior vice president of SMC Pneumatics Inc.
