April 28, May 5, 12, 19, June 2 — Junior Basketball Hawai'i. Girls and boys basketball clinic at 'Aiea District Park Gym. For ages 8-17. Times, session 1 (ages 8-13) 12:15 p.m.-2:00 p.m., session 2 (ages 14-17) 2:15 p.m-4:15 p.m. Fee: $80 per child. Information: Glenn Takara 598-9340.

Sundays — Honolulu Marathon training. 7:30 a.m. every Sunday except for three-day weekends. Kapi'olani Park across Paki Hale at 3833 Paki Ave. Informational talk about marathon training and related subjects followed by group training runs. Free. Information: 531-9930.


April 28 — Diamond Head AYSO Region 48 Registration. At Kalani High School Cafeteria. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Open to children born between Aug. 1, 1983 through Jan. 31, 1998. New players must bring copy of birth certificate. Fee: $55, $42 if registered by April 29. Information: 373-2601.

Track and Field

April 27 — Punahou Invitational Relays and Hawai'i's Fastest Human. At Punahou School Relays begin at 11:30 a.m. for field events, 1:15 p.m. for running events. May 20 — 22nd annual Tinman Triathlon deadline. Starts at Ala Moana Park and finishes at Kapiolani Park on July 14. 800-meter swim, a 40-kilometer mountain bike ride and a 10-kilometer trail run. Fee: $55 Information: Olga Caldwell 595-5317, Faye Saiki 596-0588 or www.tinmanhawaii.com.
