"C.Q.": Set in 1969, Jeremy Davies is Paul, an idealistic filmmaker who's working on a sci-fi feature in Paris; his real passion, however, is a cinema verite of his daily life. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (R).

"Circuit": A young policeman who realizes he's gay and unhappy in a small Midwestern town moves to West Hollywood to explore his wilder side. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row. (Not rated; contains drug abuse, nudity and sex, pervasive sexuality, foul language).

"Full Frontal": From director Steven Soderbergh, a film within a film: A group, including Julia Roberts, Blair Underwood and David Hyde Pierce, tries to make a movie. Opens tomorrow at Varsity Twin. (R).

"Lovely and Amazing": A movie about four women who feel they are not lovely and amazing, but are willing to keep on trying. Opens tomorrow at The Art House at Restaurant Row and Koko Marina 8-Plex. (R).

"The Master of Disguise": Comic Dana Carvey is a waiter who finds out he comes from a long line of secret agents.
