Tonight's Must-See

• "The Rerun Show" premiere, 8:30 p.m., NBC. In a summer of strangeness, this show is even odder than most. It starts with the scripts for old TV shows. No words are changed but some are trimmed for length. Those words seem wildly different when tackled by broad comedy actors.

Of Note

• "Joan Crawford: The Ultimate Movie Star," 2 and 5 p.m., Turner Classic Movies. Joan Crawford, people in this documentary say, was good at almost everything except parenting. This film describes Crawford as a woman who took control in Hollywood in 1925 when it was a man's world.
