Hawai'i's Gesser has own Web site

Like any respectable Heisman Trophy candidate, St. Louis School alum Jason Gesser has his own Web site this season.

www.jasongesser.com takes you to a Web site operated by the sports information department at Washington State University, which also has mounted a 15- by 25-foot banner of Gesser on a grain elevator in eastern Washington.

The web site's main headline alternates between "Gess Who 4 Heisman," same as the giant banner, and "Jason Gesser, Washington State Cougars." A photo of Gesser has been manipulated so it appears he is running in stride with the famous figure on the Heisman Trophy.

There are links to his biography, game-by-game and career statistics for the past three years, news stories on the Heisman campaign, and action photos. Once the season starts Aug. 31, the links to audio and video clips will be activated, and everything will be updated weekly, if not daily.
