Farrington Highway closed after accident

Farrington Highway near Makua was closed after a traffic accident at about 4:45 this afternoon. The accident involved at least two vehicles, dispatchers said.

Both vehicles caught fire.

Dispatchers said two men and a woman had been air-lifted to hospitals by military helicopter. Two of the victims were in serious condition and the third was in critical condition.
