Wahine ranked 4th in first coaches' poll

The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine will open the season ranked fourth in the USA Today/American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll.UH, which was second in the Volleyball Magazine preseason poll behind defending national champion Stanford, followed the Cardinal, Nebraska and Southern California in the USA Today version released today. Hawai'i received five of 65 first-place votes cast by Division I coaches.
The Rainbow Wahine, who were 29-5 in reaching the Sweet 16 last year, open the season at home Aug. 30 against ninth-ranked Ohio State.
