Police searching for three escaped inmates

Milton Kapule frequents the Salt Lake, 'Aiea, and Mililani areas.

Kristopher Kealoha frequents the Middle Street and Kalihi areas.
Authorities yesterday were searching for three men who escaped from the minimum-security Waiawa Correctional Facility on Saturday and Tuesday.

Police said Kristopher Kealoha, 26, left the facility at 94-560 Kamehameha Highway on Saturday at about 6:15 p.m. after being ordered to report to the watch commander's office. Kealoha, who failed to report to the watch commander, is serving a sentence for first-degree terroristic threatening, auto theft and second-degree robbery. He frequents the Middle Street and Kalihi areas.

Milton Kapule and Jack Masaniai were last seen at the facility on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. At the next head count, both men were missing and are believed to have left together.

Kapule has 15 felony convictions. He is serving a sentence for robberies, burglaries, auto thefts, and kidnappings. He frequents the Salt Lake, 'Aiea, and Mililani areas.

Masaniai is serving a sentence for felony assault and violating a protective order. He frequents the Pearl City and Kalihi areas.

Police said the fugitives should be considered dangerous and should not be approached. Call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300; *CRIME on a cellular phone.
